The Gold Rush
Ben Singer: guitar
Sam Frazier: guitar
Matty Sheets: drums
In 1925, the New York Times summed up The Gold Rush perfectly: “Here is a comedy with streaks of poetry, pathos, tenderness, linked with brusqueness and boisterousness. It is the outstanding gem of all Chaplin’s pictures”.
This evening, we will be performing an original score to this beautiful piece of film. Joining Ben will be one of the Triad’s outstanding guitarists — Sam Frazier. And on drums, all-round musician and raconteur — Matty Sheets.
The show will open with sets from Molly Miller and Emily Stewart & The Baby Teeth.
