Sita Sings the Blues

After our album show in May, we found out two things.

One, we kept watching the movie behind us, which was really fun. Two, we’d rather improvise new music than play our album tunes.

So for this show, we found “Sita Sings the Blues”. It’s an animated musical romantic comedy-drama film recently made by Nina Paley, who put the film in public domain after a long struggle trying to release the film with its intended music.

We faced the screen, played to the film, and you could say this is the start of Modern Robot proper.
