It’s been almost two years! In 2015, Modern Robot played the 1926 silent film “Faust” to a full audience at the Crown. Since then, “At the Crossroads” (my title for it) has played 31 times: in Edinburgh, Orlando, New York, and San Francisco.

So I thought it would be nice to play a show here again, at one of my favorite places, Scuppernong Books.

“A pulsating, breathtakingly epic score to the film” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (BroadwayBaby)

“The sensitively played music softened the story, directing our attention to the very ordinary human frailty highlighted by the actors and effects” (ThreeWeeks)

“At times sweet and benign, at times driven and relentless, the music accompanies the […] powerful clashing of light and dark” (CurtainUp)

“Advisory: Sex is strongly implied, but nothing is objectionable.” (NY Theatre Guide)

This is a free show.
